FreedomBank Empowers Success in Our Region Through Volunteerism and Financial Aid
As a community bank serving Clayton, Allamakee, and Winneshiek Counties, and the surrounding areas, FreedomBank has been empowering financial success for customers for 120 years. FreedomBank and its team of over 65 employees, who are also 100% owners of the bank, give back to their communities. Civic service is a way of life for FreedomBank and a cornerstone belief for their team.
Over the years, FreedomBank and its employee-owners have stepped up for our communities in significant ways. They are there during times of prosperity and, more importantly, in times of great need. For example, FreedomBank recently pledged $50,000 towards the Allamakee County Agricultural Society’s building fund. The positive impact of the new building and FreedomBank’s contribution will preserve our rural heritage and promote agriculture, which is a driving force of the bank.
Beyond large-scale projects, you’ll find FreedomBank’s imprint and people at everyday events and activities that are part of the fabric of our rural market, too. From coaching youth sports to leading 4-H clubs, serving on boards, and pitching in on community projects, FreedomBank is there.
In 2022, FreedomBank donated over $116,000.00 to local organizations, often helping to fill gaps in our communities. Additionally, FreedomBank’s employee-owners volunteered 1,882 hours with 66 various non-profit organizations. Employee-owners serve as treasurers, teachers, board members, coaches, and other leadership roles.
