FreedomBank Empowers Student Success with $21,500 in Scholarship Contributions

FreedomBank is proud to continue its tradition of supporting local students by contributing $21,500 to area scholarship foundations. These funds will provide scholarships and long-term educational support for students pursuing higher education.

FreedomBank Scholarships will be awarded to a graduating high school senior at each of the following school districts: Central, MFL MarMac, Postville, Allamakee, and Eastern Allamakee. The scholarships are made possible through FreedomBank’s annual $4,500 donation to the districts' corresponding scholarship foundations.

Additionally, FreedomBank contributed $17,000 to scholarship endowments held by the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque, further strengthening its commitment to educational opportunities in the region.

Breakdown of Contributions:

"At FreedomBank, we believe in empowering success by investing in the education of our future leaders," said Kathy Mueller, President and CEO of FreedomBank. "These scholarships not only provide financial assistance but also serve as a foundation for students to achieve their dreams. We are proud to continue this tradition, knowing that these investments will have a lasting impact on our communities and the rural workforce."

College-bound high school seniors who have demonstrated academic success and are interested in pursuing higher education are eligible for the FreedomBank Scholarship. Consideration will be given to students with top math scores who plan to major in business, finance, or agriculture.
